https://twitter.com/EricTrump/status/1706795629505114508One of the notable lines from the summary judgment granted by the judge in the new york civil case- without a trial- was his argument that Mar-a-Lago had its value inflated by Trump and was only worth about $18 million. When a nearby vacant lot of a much smaller size is listed on Zillow for $200 million (17 vs 2.3 acres), and all serious appraisals put it closer to the several hundreds of millions, to billion range.
Ex, the same liberal media that's now going to uncritically lap up this ruling already put out articles like this a year ago;

James' lawsuit said that Mar-a-Lago was valued as high as $739 million, a claim that was "based on the false premise that it was unrestricted property and could be developed and sold for residential use, even though Mr. Trump himself signed deeds donating his residential development rights and sharply restricting changes to the property." According to James, the value of the property should be closer to $75 million.
...
According to Forbes' latest evaluation of the property in March, Mar-a-Lago is worth $350 million.
Forbes evaluated it as having at least $50-75 million in revenue alone, then added in the nearby property values and the unique historical values to come up with $350 million
"one of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong:"
This is one of those "don't trust your lying eyes" moments, there's no way anyone could credulously believe what this judge just laid out in a ruling with no trial. If Mar-a-Lago is worth $18 million than my 3k sq ft suburban home must be worth a handjob and a pack of menthols
