The nail is once again hit on the head:

USA invaded Iraq, killed hundreds of thousands of people, no one cared.

USA destroyed Libya, killed hundreds of thousands of people, no one cared.

USA armed Ukrainian Nazis to killed 14,000+ people in Donbas, no one cared....UNTIL PUTIN MADE THE WORLD CARE.

No one cares about traitors and neo-nazis killing each other on the outskirts of civilization.....this is true.

Matter of fact it was a smart way to get rid of both of the stupid groups by letting them murder each other.

But yeah....those poor traitors and traitor sympathizers who thought being traitors was going to make life better.

It's easy to be a hypocrite when war does not affect you like how it affected the citizens of Donbass, and when your government's warmongering against the rest of the world does not affect your life personally.

Well, that's about to change. True, it will only be in the economic sectors, at-least for now. But it will be enough to cause serious disruptions.

It's about time.

Ukraine was on the path to unification, when Russia stepped in and propped up separatists in the Donbass. As a result of Russian machinations, thousands have died.

It's also the EU-UK brexit situation where both sides feel pain but the pain experienced by the former is spread over a greater number of countries, resulting in a lower impact per capita in the EU

The problem Russia will have is even when sanctions are lifted, no one will want to agree a 25 year deal with Gazprom with this stuff fresh in the mind

there cant be any more deals, at least not while putin is in office

yesterday i heard some talk that the G7 were hesitant with certain moves, because they dont want to hit the regular russian folks

unfortunately thats exactly what we need to aim for as well

the economical hit wont be as spread out as the brexit though

clearly france for example wont suffer as much as germany, because at least their power plant sector is pretty independent

however russia is our biggest supplier of oil, natural gas and coal as well

thats a big yikes at least for the short term and i havent seen any of our dumbass politicians looking for new deals

If you are an american citizen like you claim, the moderators of this site should report you to the NSA for being a foreign actor. These talking points are straight from the kremlin and you post about them almost the same time as the russian news starts posting it

Okay whatever you say, Eurotrash.

Guess what, I am a sovereign free thinking person that has the basic inalienable human right to form my own opinions, thoughts, and ideas. I have the BASIC HUMAN RIGHT to seek the truth for myself and pass my own judgement.

Furthermore, I do not consider that which is the TRUTH - to be kremlin talking points. It's the truth. Yes, the US supported neo-nazi's in Ukraine. It wasn't the first time the US supported terrorist militants and it won't be the last. Also happened in Syria, Libya, Latin America, and many parts of Africa. These tactics are necessary to maintain a vast global empire.

If that's too much for you to handle, then I don't know what to say to you. You can't handle the fact that there are people in this world whom think for themselves.

LOL, well too bad. Go suck nuts for all I care.

Power knocked out to a lot of Kiev now. We'll see if they aim to encircle the city or storm it.

Only alternatives is pipelines/ships coming from the snack bar countries which will cost way more due to further proximity. Like it's not rocket science and that's why at the end of the day Russia felt they could do this. Europe absolutely needs Russian gas, there's really no way around it.

Another point I just thought about. The Nord Stream 2 becomes less crucial for Russia if they control Ukraine and can just move gas through the mainland. The Poles won't fuck with the pipeline because they are equally dependent on Russian gas just as the Germans.

They will not, but their new claim is that "Russia has no long term plans for occupation" which of course, means the opposite.
