The situation won't be repeated though, because the army in Mosul now is 95% Shia, and a fuckton of them are exterme-shia militias. So in case of another sunni-insurgency, they won't break apart. They will outright kill everyone in Mosul if they need to. This is the main reason there is 0 insurgency in Mosul last 5 years, because security apparatus has been swapped, rather than an army made up of locals(traitors)+Shia to counter Kurds it is pointed inwards, against Mosul itself using large part shia-militias.

are you confused about what we talked about? It was a different subject that can't be compared.

Also whataboutism isn't a legitimate argument, critique and hypocrisy are very important aspects of any discussion

I think that what's interesting is that: on one side China created a terrible dictatorship; they are even chasing dissidents overseas... An abomination of an "order".
On the other side i'm convinced they are also, slowly but surely, completely destroying their own culture which is becoming something totally "empty".

China pulled 500million people out of poverty in less than 30 years and in that time span, they have become the 2nd global power.

Whatever they did, by whatever means they be is something completely magical. Keep crying about whatever it is you are, whilst they will rule 3/4ths of the world in the coming 20years.

I don't think you understood what i meant. Crying and saying "whataboutism", as a defense for being pointed out as a hypocritical dishonest trashcan isn't legitimate.

Not long ago, china was seen as current day Africa in terms of poverty. It was thought of as a place that will never be livable, after being raped by Europeans/Japanese for 100 years.

Now, they are a massive economy growing at 5-8% yearly.

Yea that has nothing to do with Communist party decisions after world war 2, going as far as giving out public orders to the peasants explaining that food shortages are caused by birds and that they should be hunted and eaten instead of introducing proper farming reforms.
