https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-releases-audio-appears-refute-claim-walked-interview-2020-questi-rcna25277
Odd bedfellows here, but NBC apparently favors debunking a media organization impugning Trump with a misleading clip, because taking down TalkTV is now a higher priority for them than taking down Trump.
An interview between Trump and Piers Morgan was advertised with an edited clip to make it sound like Trump stormed off the set, but it turns out they actually did the "simpsons- rock bottom reports on sex predator homer simpson" routine by moving around clips of what Trump said and in what order.
they show Trump walking off saying 'very dishonest' and 'turn the camera off', but in reality they had an amiable end to the interview after Piers kept asking 'one more question' about 10 times to make a 20 minute interview last 60 minutes, which Trump pointed out was very dishonest, then they shook hands and said it was a great interview and he stood up and said turn the camera off, after the interview as already over.

But the audio of the end of the interview appears to tell a different story. The two men laughed and thanked each other, the recording shows. There are no signs of Trump's storming off set.

"That was a great interview," Morgan says in the audio at the end.

Trump agrees with a "yeah."

"Thank you very much. I really appreciate it," Morgan says.

That's when Trump says, "Turn the camera off." By then, the former president had already risen from his chair, according to his communications director, Taylor Budowich, who supplied the audio to NBC News.

I might ruffle some feathers here, but I'm off the Trump train. Not because of anything one of these cuck pedo libtards might say, but I simply believe he's become ballot box poison. In 2016, we saw the "Fuck you" candidate and after 8 years of Obama, that's what we wanted. I think we've moved on from that level of visceral desire for a wrecking ball, and want someone constructive. Donald Trump may have virtually taken over the heart and soul of the GOP, but at this point I believe Ron DeSantis would have a better shot at beating Biden (or "Biden") in 2024, even beating the margin of fraud. Not only would Florida be delivered on a silver platter, but Ron's demeanor will inevitably win over the one big demo that Trump lost big time - white suburban women. We've seen that virtually every demographic and age group has moved toward the GOP in current polling, except for the cool wine aunts, who vote in droves.

I think its very short sighted. Nobody can predict what will happen between now and 2024. At one year prior to the 2020 election, Donald Trump was steamrolling his way to a landslide victory on the economy and his policy achievements, foreign and domestic. He got blindsided by Covid 19. And one year prior to the 2016 election, people- myself included- were saying much as you are now, that Trump was ballot box poison and would drag down the GOP by his mere presence, and had no chance of winning an election and would tear down the real candidates. That's why Hillary Clinton's campaign worked to boost Trump during the primaries with their 'pied piper' initiative.
Not much use speculating at this point

Yes that is all true, the Dems successfully seized upon the "pandemic" to "win", and 2024 is a ways off and a lot of things can change - but I do definitely see some important differences between then and now - it's a bit like how people speculate about a housing crash being imminent now because it happened in 2008 so why wouldn't it happen again, without taking into account some very important fundamentals. If the election were today, said fundamentals as applied to the election I think would result in a Trump loss vs Biden (regardless of how unpopular and retarded Biden is) but a DeSantis win vs Biden. We'll see how it goes, I only hope DeSantis continues burning pillars of Leftist victories to the ground piece by piece for the next 2 years so he can do that on a national level in 2024

Well Trump had his second term stolen from him so naturally he will want to "finish" what he started and run again.

Karmically from a spiritual perspective, he did deserve a second term, but it was swept from under his feet by the mail-inballot scheme enabling huge amounts of fraud with help from the media and intelligence services.

It really sucks because now is not only an illegitimate president destroying our country but now whatever "improved" version of Trump we could have gotten in 2024 will have to wait until 2028 bare minimum.

Anytime you want to provide proof about a stolen election feel free.

Until then...enjoy your dishonesty.

What does "seized upon the 'pandemic'" mean in this?

It's totally legitimate to point to a crisis and convince voters you will handle it better.
