Linda Sarsour was on a call or something and Biden's spokesman afterwards released a statement denouncing her viewpoints. No idea who this other woman is.

I like institutions. We need stronger ones. They shouldn't just be platforms that get hijacked by destructive politicians(like Trump). So when the Democratic party protects their own interests by excluding a whining Tucker Carlson regular, I'm glad.

Strong institutions are only a good thing if they actually serve the interests of the entire country, not just the interests of multinationals or the technocratic class.

Trump is a figurative wrecking ball. He can serve his purpose by clearing certain long-term obstacles out of the way, even if he himself isnt the one to build something better in their place.

If there's one thing that Trump has shown it's that these institutions do serve the public in some ways, and their absence results in far worse damage when a serious problem arises.
