Are there some people on PaRD, that want trump out of office, and will do ANYTHING to aid that happening? Yes there are.
Do they realize that they are as transparent as glass? Sadly most, do not.

Just want to revisit that this post was made by a Birther everyone.

What's the argument to block all witnesses from testifying under oath? At first, the GOP indicated that they would be okay with folks testifying as long as Trump' camp got their say on the matter, as well. That appears to have changed.

But if people testify under oath and it can be reasonably shown that Trump unlawfully and knowingly withheld funds from a foreign country as a quid pro quo for to investigate a political adversary, why wouldn't that qualify as an offence that meets a high crime or misdemeanor?

We were told it's a slam dunk airtight case. If that's true, why call more witnesses? If what we're saying is that the Democrats impeached without sufficient evidence, but in the hope that something else will come up, then we should probably just acknowledge it as the partisan spectacle that it is and have the Senate dismiss.

And to your question, no, Republican voters do not think this is sufficient to warrant removal. There is intense pressure on Republican Senators to stick by the president.

What sneaky bullshit have they passed behind closed doors with this spectacle of a distraction? You can bet we're handing more power and money over to big business and losing more of our privacy, rights and freedoms every year, every election, every distraction.

Democrats are saying Trump committed a high crime or misdemeanor. Republicans are saying that isn't true. Democrats want to call witnesses under oath. Republicans don't want that.

Without witnesses under oath, Republicans can say that the Democrats' claims are false without ever knowing the truth.

Republicans are having their cake and eating it in this case. They say that the Democrats' claims are false, but they also aren't willing to go through the details or allow witnesses under oath to speak.

You can have an 'airtight' case blocked by not ever actually going through the case.

House Democrats already called witnesses, and the evidence they gathered was deemed sufficient to impeach the president. I dont see why this same evidence now shouldnt be good enough.
