Just saying. You're cheering for social cleansing right now. You're cheering for the actual deaths of the poor and disabled. 220,000 deaths due to austerity alone. 90 Disabled people a week dying after having their welfare cut off.

If you wanna go all Godwin on it that's your choice. I'm just stating facts here.

You are hysterical. Everything will be fine because BoJo is going to bring back the pride that the British people deserve.

Fascists: "we're racist and we're stupid but at least stupidity and racism are winning!"

Stupid, ugly and boring, what a way to dredge through life. Its a good thing Mommy pays for your existence.

Corbyn is a lot further left than Sanders, Warren, etc, so it's not an accurate comparison IMO. I don't think there is a comparable figure to Corbyn in American politics because it doesn't exist.

True, but on the other hand, the distance between Corbyn and the British median voter should be roughly the same as that between Sanders and the American median voter.

I see how you might think that is the case, but it's still conjecture.

Corbyn has had negative poll ratings consistently for years, whereas this is not the case with Sanders.

Also, policy-wise the American voter seems to be in favour of more left-leaning policies shown by the increase in support of single-payer.

While I disagree entirely with the Corbyn cultists attempting to blame this loss all on Brexit and not Corbyn and his abject leadership, it's still true that a (perceived) unclear position on Brexit was a factor for some Labour voters defecting to the Tories and Brexit party. This paradigm is specific to the UK and cannot be applied across the pond.

Sure, I just wanted to point out that while Corbyn is more to the left than Sanders or Warren, the British public also seems more to the left than the American one. Yes, Americans have been embracing more left-wing economic policies in recent years (since the great recession), but they're still much more conservative on economic issues than you Brits.

Of course Brexit is still a one of a kind issue that makes contemporary British politics hard to compare to other countries...
