read his manifesto. he uses exactly the same talking points about immigrants trump does.

and when you're done you can explain to me how the dayton shooting was politically motivated. if you can make that claim, you surely can prove it as well, right?

Inspired by Trumps rhetoric? Key word. Inspired.
A delusional person can twist anything to their agenda.

When did Trump call for violence? He hasn't to my knowledge. But Antifa directly has.

I think the fact this guy has tweets supporting Antifa, punch a Nazi, and the need to take action/take violence, have some foundation that this may have had some motivation for his actions.

There you go.

People shouldn't be supporting violence to any extent against any person is the takeaway.

in other words: there are NO concrete criteria by which you could justify the claim that the dayton shooting was politically motivated. just as i thought, only a poor attempt to draw an equivalence and play down the threat by white nationalists. shameful...

watching the left, who has claimed trump's rhetoric is driving a renewed string of racism nationwide, now say that ANTIFA who openly espouses violence and uses it with regularity didn't partially motivate this is hilarious.

of course whackos are inspired by Trump, and of course this whacko was inspired by ANTIFA clowns. you'd have a harder time calling balls and strikes on a pitching machine.

you're the shortsighted fool who asked if it was politically motivated. no one said they're equally motivated, i even said partially to try and help you from making this oh so predictable mistake.

add false equivalency to the list of debate phrases you should toss out to not look silly. you just say it like its a point without even double checking context, like many phrases you over-use it's with about 25% accuracy. that's only good numbers in baseball at-bats. here it just means you look silly 75% of the time.

same as "they're incomparable....here let me compare them to show you"

Pretty dumb comment tbh.

That's fine. I've grown accustomed to your antifa blind spot.

I mean if he targeted a white power group or even just a right wing group then it would make sense. If he left a manifesto saying he was motivated by antifascism then it would make sense too. Van Sproensen was clearly motivated by antifascist sentiment for example.
He also murdered his sister and had a history of pretty un-antifa type sentiments.

I'm happy to say that people could be motivated by antifascist sentiment to carry out attacks. Doesn't bother me in the least. I think it's inevitable at this point considering the route the Trump administration is taking. I just hope that when it does happen that they target actual violent, far-right groups and not just the random public. Because antifascism exists to protect the general public from the far-right.
