Trump is the President of America, Leader of the free world and dominant topic in the US news cycle. I am interested in his actions, words and life because of his importance on the world stage. While I'm flattered you would make the implication - I am not nearly as influential.

I'm entitled to it by birth because someone in my family's history did work their way up. If any one of your ancestors had the class or calibre to do the same then you'd be sitting pretty but as you're from Liverpool... well hard working people have been scarce their forever.
