Women are doing better for themselves these days and are becoming the breadwinners of more and more households. This is now leading to a situation where more and more women are being ordered to make support payments to their ex's and now women are talking about alimony being a problem - and i agree with them!
Question for everyone, should you have to support your ex for the rest of his life just because you were married for a brief period of time?
As a feminist, I find this to be outrageous now that women are experiencing the pain of having to pay ridiculously large sums of money to their ex husbands. When it happens to men it's their own fault because we live in a male dominated society and the oppressors having to pay their victims isn't a problem but under no circumstances should victims be ordered to pay their oppressors.

I'm guessing women just own up to what the courts order them to pay for. Or get prenups in place before you get married.
Cause otherwise there'd have to be a fair amount of change to the court system in how they determine settlements.
It's really crazy though when you hear about the stories of women or men being paid like thousands of dollars of alimony just because they exist and they will continue to get it until they get married again and at that point it's just a motivation for them to not get married. They could be with another guy/girl and just not get married and get a free check cause their ex is well off.
