I've given you scripture to back up my beliefs. If you choose to not believe it, I can't help you. The burden is on yourself and between you and God. I'm sorry if you feel that I am judging you.

i certainly don't agree with a lot of your interpretation of the scripture
but the moral/ethical conclusions you have made
are definitely more christian than what a lot of the conservative self-styled christians take from it
unfortunately to pun on the thread title:
ask one christian get one opinion, ask two and you get hundreds

if the jesus as described in the bible would live today, he would shake your hand
while many of the american christians would send him to guantanamo

It's my job as a Christian to teach truth and point them to where the truth is. I'm sorry you don't feel the same way.

Discussion requires truth does it not? I am not threatening you with any wrath. I'm telling you that you (and everyone that obliges) have to answer to false doctrine. How God chooses to judge is His call. Again, I'm just teaching truth. The truth offends many people in this world.

...your truth does not make it the truth . You claim to be offering a fellow Christian correction as taught in the Bible but I am guessing you missed the part about where and when to do it .

THE truth (the truth I teach), is validated through scripture. Notice how I added scripture to back what I was saying? It was not made up.

My original post about once saved always saved was PM'd to HST for the purpose of not openly discussing this matter. He posted that discussion here. However, it false doctrine is going to be taught as truth, I feel obliged to correct it for the sake of those considering a relationship with Christ. Again, I'm sorry if you don't feel the same way.
