I’ll be honest… I considered myself pretty moderate over the years until the last 8 years. A few things drove this for me:
1. Immigration - I was one of many directly affected by this issue. Having a cousin rape/murdered in Texas City by a group of 3 illegal immigrants. Who also for a short period of time lived in her house after the crimes were committed.
2. LGBTQ+ Movement- I’m ok with sexual preferences. Doesn’t bother me. Teaching children under 18 anything about gender identity outside of male/female basic science is offensive and I find it just as repulsive as prayer in schools that may have non-Christian students. It’s forcing beliefs on others with the penalty of ostracized children if their parents choose to not let them participate. It’s another form of segregation.
3. The political options - There is currently not a single Democrat candidate they are pushing I could even stomach.
On the flip side. The GOP needs to adjust on some things.
1. We need a better system for medical treatment for those who can’t afford the best care.
2. Let gays marry. As long as they are treated the same way as every other couple as far as taxes and everything. Go for it. Who cares.
3. Legalize drugs. All of them. It would weed out the filth and trim down the tax money going to prisons.
1. "immigration" the real question is why? i understand fertility rates are crashing. that would make elites fearful. so everything is wide open out of this fear? so criminals also flood in.

'pride movement was about being left in peace and get married. the people agreed. but its no longer about that. now its about glorifying 'homosexuality and having access to the kids. but? going after kids is what pedos do. but? if you point out the obvious you get called a homophobe and nazi and names names names. there is no 'pride anymore.
