China has done many bad things. It has also grown at an incredible rate over the last 50 years, you could distrust everything China says and you'd still have to accept this point because there is evidence everywhere. It is undeniable that the Chinese government does bad things and some good things

It's not a question of whether China is trustworthy, they are not. It's a question of whether they are less untrustworthy than the US. You can say China lied about COVID. Can you say the US is not lying about "reciprocal" tariffs?

I can say that on any non-Chinese organization that calculates or assesses government corruption that the US is rated much less corrupt than China by a wide margin.
