No clear winner or moments that people point to as real zingers. Trump has won several convincingly and Harris only needed to keep awake to outperform Biden so a tie should go to her. And yet, Trump managed to wrest most of the time to talk about issues where Harris is weak. She had her chance to define herself and came off as bitchy and preachy while attacking Trump nonstop which is following the Hillary playbook and not a winning strategy

Harris needed to keep the focus off the economy. Snap polling shows Trump increased his lead on the economy and immigration in before/after audiences.

If Harris had a lead she'd be happy with this debate. Trump usually bodyslams people in debates to win his leads, and he underperformed. But the conventional logic is she's running as the incumbent when every dissatisfaction indicator is flashing red. She needs convincing wins.

And the other metric is of disinterested lowbob Americans. ABC clearly tried to avoid showing it, and even gave harris a shorter podium to hide it, but the opening shot and a few moments zoomed out showed Trump towering over her. I wonder what % of americans turn it off after the first minute or put it on mute. A huge chunk. Thats been the conventional bar that kept folks like desantis from being this tall to ride the ride. In a debate without any standout moments, standing out might be all that matters

If you are really interested in what happened watch it, this is more a fanfiction then anything else.

As to your story just posted, it dates to 1974, and is about a kid killing a feral cat because they are pests, we shoot them here in australia, i have shot hundreds of them, eating the cat is not mentioned anywhere but i wouldn't care if he did.

So well that in fact no member of either group can call it a win and in a country this polarized it means they both totally bombed and people are slowly coming to the realization (somehow not already there) that the candidates are both garbage.
