Birth rates in India had been declining throughout the 60s and 70s, then even declined a bit harder during the 80s and 90s. Do you seriously believe that the bulk of India's population during the 70s and 80s had access to lots of entertainment, to video games, the internet and such?

The reality is that people do not, and never have, consciously decided to have children because they're bored - the only indirect correlation there ever was is that people had sex when they were bored, and in the more distant past, more sex directly led to more children. A common demographic trend which is observable all across the globe is that birth rates plummeted wherever and whenever reliable contraceptives became available since 'more sex' then no longer automatically led to 'more children'. Contraceptives have decoupled "carnal entertainment" from procreation.

There are other factors, such as education, culture and war, but the general trend toward declining birth rates is global and not limited to places with abundant entertainment. The trend toward sexlessness in places like Japan or South Korea maybe exacerbates the trend, it maybe makes the difference between having 1.5 children per women or having 0.9, but it's not the root cause of declining birth rates.

No doubt there are many factors that impact birth rate. India still has an incredibly high birth rate compared to us, which should be mentioned, and the fact that India is more or less physically full.

Canadian data: https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/91f0015m/91f0015m2024001-eng.htm

*Important note about this data is it doesn't segregate for immigrants, so the fertility rate of citizens could be even lower

Birth control is the clear root cause of the population collapse, but what factors are now causing the continual decline? We also have the weakness of the average man problem, such that the few strong men are having all the women - who are now making a conscious choice to be single mothers as opposed to marriage (they see no point in having a weak man around that they overpower if they can't get a strong man to commit to them). Lots of factors for sure, but in the present the overabundance of cheap entertainment is no doubt a leading factor.

Big time. Weakness is championed as a moral good, strength is shunned as a moral evil. It's legitimately sad how many men nowadays choose to spend their unmarried/no family free time on mindless entertainment, I'll add watching sports in here too because that's a big degenerate one that people sidestep. It's sad how most men don't even understand what it feels like to have a strong mobile body, and they're too proud to step under the barbell and humble themselves through hard physical work. The average woman today is more masculine, capable, and stronger than the average man.

I don't say this as a holier than thou angle either, I'm guilty of spending way too much time on my phone, in-between sets at the gym, at work (like now), and while I'm resting

I used to be a gym rat, I used to spend all my time in the gym, I used to be able to both snatch, and clean and press 315 lbs over my head.
That's where I found my plateau of gains, I can 100% tell you that all of the women were going after femboys.

I am doing my part (fit, muscular, no nonsense), same with my nephew and youngest cousin.
The problem is there are no male role models for the modern youth except for family members or friends. You have to be fit, learn and work hard to earn your living. That's what a man is at its core. All other things are useless distractions.

Depends if you're ugly or juiced (women don't like either). Doing 315+ on the Oly lifts is incredibly impressive, but if that's from juice, it makes sense. Women's ideal appears to be like Brad Pitt in Troy - good features, symmetrical lean & strong without juice, but also a gentleman and refined. I do 3 hrs @ the gym ~5 days a week, but I love it, it's an artform & meditation, focused on strictly bodybuilding building functional strength & symmetry, too many people nowadays have forgotten many of the staple lifts from the 70's that build the balanced physique, especially the posterior shoulder & upper back musculature

The no male role models is really true and a shame. Boys/men really just have to figure it out for themselves which is difficult, takes a long time, with alot of anguish beforehand. Great male role models are suppressed & demonized in the media (e.g. that football player Harrison Butker) and good male role models have been purged from the media (TV shows presented a fat lazy husband as the norm for decades) and most of the strong men presented are juice monkeys which is a horrible example to set for young boys

I am more into bodyweight now with a lot more emphasis on endurance (sprinting, hill sprints, 5km runs). The only exercises I still do with bars are military press, frontsquats and romanian deadlifts on the same day due to the lack of time. At the place where I do sprints I also do pullups, dips, inverted rows and ring pushups in a circuit manner, again due to lack of time
No juicing or other BS, 184cm, 90kg, 14% fat.

That's a solid comp, pretty similar to me, I'm 5'11" 195 lbs and similar bodyfat maybe a bit less depending on measurement. Those nice compound movements are gonna cover nearly everything

Inverted row is progressive. You can float horizontally in the air and do rows similar to pullups but with zero strain on lower back. That's one sexy exercise for core as well. All in all, much more sustainable and time saving that 100x exercises for 100x muscles.

I do them like this but with straight legs parallel to the ground.

It seems like an amazing movement, I've never really done them, or much ring work, but I know how the basic calisthenic movements are supreme-tier, this one also being an requiring great core strength. For weights I don't think there is any perfect row style, my top ones are straight grip Tbar rows, barbell row and unilateral dumbbell row, but they're deficient in some manner.

I usually tell people to workout the way that they enjoy the most, because it's needed to make it a fun hobby and not a chore. I like the free weights the most, some machines. Getting good muscular tension and feedback is great for motivation. Some people really like Crossfit which is odd to be but it's all good

Exactly, I am having hell of a fun while sprinting.
