Regarding the point about "they're trying a rerun of Biden's basement-strategy from 2020 with her": that strategy only worked four years ago because Trump was the incumbent president, the man tasked with (and failing at) handling two gigantic crises at once. This time around, the Biden/Harris White House is in charge, the current state of America is on them - and it's not looking pretty: the cost of living crisis, the open border, rampant crime in cerrtain jurisdictions, two major wars raging on which the US can't get a grip, Iran close to the bomb, China making up ground in the diplomatic sphere, India becoming increasingly assertive and difficult to deal with.

In such a situation, just sitting back, hiding their unpopular candidate and hoping that Trump will self-destruct like he did in 2020 simply won't work.

Am i the only one shocked by the amount of npcs/bots preaching Kamala and the Democrats on multiple outlets? Worst part is that these people are adults and have years of experience in the real world to realize this outcome will be disastrous.

It's like i live in a simulation and i'm the one who's supposed to show all npcs the way.

Just look how many people still talk bout Covid which was one of the biggest hoax of this century.

I mean I guess its technically still a sin eater strategy. They're going to pretend that Kamala is a tabula rasa, not responsible for any of the Biden/Harris administration's policy failures. They may even duck the debates entirely to see how much they can get away with on that basement strategy. Just pin all the blame on Biden and any time Trump criticizes the incumbent administration they just point to Biden and say he's a doddery old man and its not Kamala's fault.

Christ it amazes me that the DNC has somehow found a way to go downhill from 2016. First we had Hillary rigging the primary against Bernie by puppeteering the whole DNC apparatus before any votes took place. In 2020 there basically wasn't a primary, they decided Biden would be the candidate in a smoke filled room and every challenger dropped out before any pretend-votes could take place. In 2024 we don't even get to vote on it, our votes are like points on Who's Line is it Anyway

How far will putting all the blame on Biden go? Kamala was explicitly in charge of the border, which is one of the biggest policy disasters of the Biden/Harris admin. She knew about his decline, was complicit in hiding it from the American public. And if they want to argue that all the bad decisions of this administration go back to Biden, then she has to answer why she didn't speak out or try to steer things in a more positive direction behind the scenes. Even under this premise, Kamala would either be an opportunist who put her own career ahead of the country, or an ineffectual cog in the machine.

Also, she is on the record egging on the BLM rioters, advocating for DEI and quotas, calling for the police to be defunded and stopped just shy of calling for open borders. And she endorsed the batshit insane OG Green New Deal, the one which called for north of $10 trillion in investment and for the US to be 100% decarbonized by 2035. As some clever right-wing journalists put it: Kamala will be burdened by what has been. Trying to run away from her own track record won't really work.

The border bill was Trojan horse, total shit.
It's was basically a more money for the border patrol to process, *checks notes* 12,000 illegal aliens a day, every day forever, or at least until the democrats decide that 12,000 number they agreed on is just arbitrary.
Just gladhand then, let them into the country, give them work permits, welfare and a cell phone.
