That pretty much confirms Trump wins, right?
Pretty much, yes. The entire premise of the Biden campaign and its messaging has been that Trump is a mortal threat to American democracy, that a second Trump term would be the starting point of some sort of christo-fascist takeover of the country.
Juxtapose this against the attempts by Democratic state governments to kick Trump off the ballot.
Against the attempts by Democratic state judiciaries to get Trump convincted of felonies on bogus charges.
And now juxtapose it against a literal assassination attempt on him.
It should be obvious that their strategy is now lying in shambles. What will the messaging be from here on out?
"Our side tried to take out Trump, first legally, then kinetically (when the lawfare didn't work) - but we're not the fascists, he is! Despite the heinous attack on his life, he's still the bad guy (and kinda brought this upon himself...)"So what are they gonna do now? Run on Biden's track record? Lmao!
Their last proverbial bullet ("this election is about the future of American democracy") just got neutralized by this event. Maybe an outstanding candidate like Obama could still turn things around for Democrats by thoroughly outcampaigning Trump, but the greatly diminished and declining Biden clearly doesn't have that in him anymore.
So yes, this should seal the deal in Trump's favor.
