I don't mind it nor do I really care either, it's certainly a nice sight while at the gym, I just think it's not a positive reflection of what's valued in society today. Chicks are spending tens of hours working on perky fat asses not because it's so great for their health, it's because society has telegraphed that's what's attractive, so it's almost entirely to become more appealing to men. So they do it out of vanity. Men don't and have never highlighted their sex parts like women do today.

Men have different parts that are attractive which have been highlighted forever. Tanks and t's (t's that cut off mid or above bicep) have been popular forever.
We have litterly been doing the same thing in public or clubs since I've been of age going out.
You're just highlighting the areas that are attractive to the opposite sex.
Yeah you can't work your cock to flex it so sure that's not the area highlighted but that's not really the area females are looking at anyways so you highlight the ones they are just like they highlight their ass and tits.
I don't think the Instagram crap is good for either sex making yourself worth tied to likes and attention, but I'm not going to pretend flaunting body parts worked in the gym is any different than what we have been doing since the gym rise in the late 70s. For that matter men can just roll shirtless and talk to most females I'd say they're going to say the chest is an attractive body part. You can flaunt it off with no covering.
There's most certainly a double standard applied to females it's just becoming less so.
