I think the point is that the reaction to Bud Light doing a transgender advertisement is vastly stronger than more meaningful subjects, like economic issues. The right-wing gets super excited over these petty bullshit issues and real policy stuff they often ignore.
I would agree if democrats actually cared about economic issues but they’ve largely rebuffed any serious attempt to balance the budget.
We’re going to be running 2 trillion dollar deficits, with interest payment on our debt being larger than both social security spending and military.
Democrats answer on the economic issues is always to just spend more. Inflation? Let’s pass the inflation reduction act (which just spends more money and is a fundamental breakdown of understanding of how to actually curb inflation)
So I guess my question to you is, you want to draw attention how republicans don’t want to get serious about economic issues, in contrast to who? How are democrats looking to fix fundamental issues that will be caused by runaway spending or inflation?
