so I wouldnt align trump with mcconnell and the GOP establishment on this one.
also, moore still hasnt won the general election in alabama. he just won the primary. yes, he is the heavy favorite now, since alabama is deep-red territory.
on the other hand, similar candidates to moore might be without a chance in purple or light-red states, so that voters there would gut their party's chance of winning a statewide election if they insist on pushing through controversial, right-wing figures like moore in the primary.
