You should try making your point instead of saying "it exists out there, go find it." That's how debate works. Not my job to make your point for you. The FDA knew about issues in October, but did nothing until the end of January. And it's been nearly 4 months since, and they're saying that MAYBE they'll let the plant reopen in 8 weeks. Moving at the speed of government, and safe formula is available, it just doesn't have FDA's blessing.
why even bother if you clearly demonstrate with your ignorant, bad faith first comment that all you're interested in is virtue signalling some "libertarian values", rather than honestly looking at the problem and proposed solution? also, it's not some kind of big secret what's happening, it's all over the news, and the bills are also publicly available at congress.gov and house.gov, somewhere early H.R.7800s - so your ignorance is either feigned or deliberate, and not a result of poor availability of useful information.
i reserve the right to dismiss without effort which is presented to me without it. it's not like you've ever changed your mind on anything anyway, you double and triple down, no matter how objectively or morally wrong you are, simply because politics is a team sport to low-iq americans...
lastly, the bill
appropriating money to prevent serious health risks for actual children IS the argument i made. just because you oppose it, since your silly ideology says "
government always bad, no taxes to things that don't benefit me directly", just because you personally don't care if poor people's children starve, doesn't mean your entirely baseless claim about the bill "
doing nothing" is magically proven. it's an absurd claim, supported by literally nothing, it's a
transparent attempt to "justify" punishing the innocent for your discontent with the fda and government in general.
you think hungry children care about your selectively "principled" adherence to libertarian "values", you think they care if the fda added to
the "free" market's failings? get your priorities straight, edgelord. you think those nine scumbags voted that way because they are merely being fiscally responsible but desperately looking for other ways to alleviate the situation? you can't possibly be that gullible. it's more political stunts by the dumbest and shittiest elected representatives you have - and that says a lot. but hey, congrats on being on the same page intellectually as boebert, gaetz, mtg, gohmert... can't say i'm particularly surprised.
