Trump's kid did not meet with "Russian officials", they met with washington lobbyists and got no secrets about Hillary Clinton.

There's always been this slightly racist tinge to the whole story, especially now that we know from the Mueller Report that there was no nexus to any greater official Russian plot. The fact that someone is a russian national doesn't make them a Russian official or acting on behalf of Russia, just like someone being a Somali-American or a green card holder immigrating to America doesn't make them a Somali official.

So misrepresenting and using the death of Americans to profit from doesn't make it worse and makes it more permissible?
