the point you raised was weak, the only borderline statement was the "under penalty of law", as there will be no trial so Kav won't be charged with false witness even if an investigation is done.

Yes, I get it, he's being politically correct... that's not really my big issue with the statement and I said I had no problem with Kavanaugh's statement overall except that overexaggeration about "qualified men and women are now gonna be to scared to get payed hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to wear a dress and pretend to care about the constitution"
