So everytime they've tried to put communism into practice it has failed miserably, and yet somehow its not the system that its wrong its the states that have implemented it. Piss off
Try to read better. I'm not praising the Soviet style republics. I'm saying that it is disingenuous to claim that those systems are bad because they are somehow responsible for many deaths, when the Western world as a whole gleefully glosses over tens if not hundreds of millions of dead (partly) due to capitalism. And as far as the actual states go, they are not examples of communism or socialism. Lenin himself wrote that he implemented state capitalism in the post-revolution Soviet Republic.

Lenin wrote:
The state capitalism, which is one of the principal aspects of the New Economic Policy, is, under Soviet power, a form of capitalism that is deliberately permitted and restricted by the working class. Our state capitalism differs essentially from the state capitalism in countries that have bourgeois governments in that the state with us is represented not by the bourgeoisie, but by the proletariat, who has succeeded in winning the full confidence of the peasantry.
Unfortunately, the introduction of state capitalism with us is not proceeding as quickly as we would like it. For example, so far we have not had a single important concession, and without foreign capital to help develop our economy, the latter’s quick rehabilitation is inconceivable.
There is still lots of pro-communist sentiment in Russia. I heard it myself when I was there this summer. Especially among those who lived through Chruschev/Breznev era of relative prosperity and the era of Gorbachev/Yeltsin, who bankrupted the nation into a near-decade long famine. There are definite nuances that are barely mentioned in the USA, as McCarthyism is still well and alive. The USA has such a huge boner for capitalism anything that might limit it is looked at with suspicious eyes.
