The traditional time is usually, at the very least, when the new president's first budget actually goes into effect, and is typically not until a year after when said budget has played out and economists have a chance to evaluate assessed data (i.e. job reports and many other metrics are always estimated and not verified for several months).

Congratulating Trump on this economy is akin to blaming Obama for 2009's job losses and deficit, which no reasonable person would do. You can probably credit Trump to some degree, because the consumer confidence index of the conservatives that "real news" like Fox scared into not spending have come out to play, but yeah.

Overall, any one President has a much less role in the workings of the economy than popular media seems to believe and the effects of any one President's policies takes decades to fully analyze. Even the recession that was in Bush's 8th year has roots in Clinton and as far back as the policies of Reagan.

Well, excellence, you got me there. Trump really did just kind of run on nothing.

I agree that Trump brings confidence and before economic plans go in place that's the best thing he can do.

Your response nothing to do with reality or how the market is playing out. The economy rose under Trump because Trump promises STABILITY. Obama was willing to create painful useless tax schemes (like Obamacare) and shove them in people's faces. When businesses know that Obama's stupid ideas aren't happening anymore, they gain trust and are more likely to invest in the future.

Reading Breitbart this week has been a real treat, the comment section has decided that Trump's either a traitor or Breitbart=fakenews. Not surprised to come in here and see Excellence clinging to the only headline that keeps him off suicide watch.

SUSAN RYCE, LORETTA LYNCH, COMEY, HILLARY'S BOOK.

i guess that's a good thing to cling to while DACA reigns supreme and the wall becomes a fence, maybe.

He is collaborating because he is forced to govern. These cucks in the House and Senate dont have to govern a state while your party members are trying to knock your feet out from under you by taking away your citizen's healthcare. It is easy for them to say working Americans don't need to be healthy or see doctors. That is the only reason they're willing to do this.

Hopefully the GOP mess wont be as big as it was in 2008 when theyre done. These are the people that reelected George Bush 2.

WASHINGTON — Shortly after learning in May that a special counsel had been appointed to investigate links between his campaign associates and Russia, President Trump berated Attorney General Jeff Sessions in an Oval Office meeting and said he should resign, according to current and former administration officials and others briefed on the matter.

The president blamed the appointment of the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, on Mr. Sessions’s decision to recuse himself from the Justice Department’s Russia investigation — a move Mr. Trump believes was the moment his administration effectively lost control over the inquiry. Accusing Mr. Sessions of “disloyalty,” Mr. Trump unleashed a string of insults on his attorney general.

Ashen and emotional, Mr. Sessions told the president he would quit and sent a resignation letter to the White House, according to four people who were told details of the meeting. Mr. Sessions would later tell associates that the demeaning way the president addressed him was the most humiliating experience in decades of public life.

The Oval Office meeting, details of which have not previously been reported, shows the intensity of Mr. Trump’s emotions as the Russia investigation gained steam and how he appeared to immediately see Mr. Mueller’s appointment as a looming problem for his administration. It also illustrates the depth of antipathy Mr. Trump has had for Mr. Sessions — one of his earliest campaign supporters — and how the president interprets “disloyalty” within his circle of advisers.

The bold is quite similar to what General John Kelly is reported to have said... Trump likes to berate honorable men apparently.
