⚡️🇺🇸🇮🇱JUST IN: Former GHF worker says he witnessed war crimes:

Anthony Aguilar told the BBC:
"I witnessed the Israeli Defense Forces shooting at the crowds of Palestinians. I witnessed the Israeli Defense Forces firing a main gun tank round from the Merkava tank into a crowd of people, destroying a car of civilians that were simply driving away from the site. I witnessed mortar rounds being fired at the crowds of people to keep them controlled."

BBC journalist ask:
"As a professional soldier with a very long career, what was your professional opinion of what was happening?"

Anthony Aguilar told the BBC:
"My professional opinion of how the sites were established was what I would describe as amateur. inexperienced, untrained, no idea of how to conduct operations of this magnitude. That would be my most benign assessment. In my most frank assessment, I would say that they're criminal. In my entire career have I never witnessed the level of brutality and use of indiscriminate and unnecessary force against a civilian population, an unarmed, starving population. I've never witnessed that in all of the places I've been deployed to war until I was in Gaza at the hands of the IDF and US contractors."

BBC journalist ask:
"Based on the knowledge you have, do you think that you were a witness then to war crimes? I think you're saying that very emphatically."

Anthony Aguilar told the BBC:
"Without question, I witnessed war crimes. I witnessed war crimes by the Israeli Defense Forces, without a doubt, using artillery rounds, mortar rounds, firing tank rounds into unarmed civilians. It's a war crime."

BBC journalist:
"People can resist hunger for a long time, but in the end, their strength ebbs away and deaths can rise exponentially, and that is what seems to be happening now in Gaza. Israel insists its forces have not targeted civilians. Now we have eyewitness testimony to add to the considerable evidence that they've done so as a matter of routine."

Do you have any comment to the claim re: AID destroyed? or the fact that baby food has been expressly withheld (the video marker i highlighted above). a response to either of those events would be appreciated.

In a shameful diplomatic move, France authorized direct contact with Hamas leadership in 2020, during which Hamas openly declared its intent to destroy Israel, and French officials raised no objection. This quiet endorsement of genocidal rhetoric, now resurfacing amid France’s push to recognize a Palestinian state, exposes a disturbing moral failure at the heart of French foreign policy

You’re asking about baby food and destroyed aid, but you’re silent on the 80 million tons of aid, paid for by our taxpayers, that’s waiting at the border while the UN refuses to distribute it. If we’re going to talk about humanitarian responsibility, let’s talk about all of it.

dear oh dear. You are fully aware that Israel prevented aid from going into Gaza for months. Your response to my question is very poor.

Yes, there were restrictions early in the war, and some month ago just like the U.S., U.K., and every military in history limits supplies going into active combat zones. But that’s not the current situation. Right now, the bottleneck is at the distribution stage: the UN refuses to operate under a model that bypasses Hamas. So again, if we’re talking humanitarian responsibility, why ignore the thousands of aid trucks waiting while people starve, simply because the UN won’t adapt.
