i get it, its complex. but if you are true to your point, then Palestinians essentially deserve to inflict even worse on Israel, right? considering the disproportionate amount of violence and inhumane treatment, hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed and tens of thousands more being starved to death.
i cant think of worse treatment than what the Israelis are inflicting on Palestinians right now. its the worst thing human beings have ever done to each other
how much lower can humans sink?

It's by far nowhere near the worst thing humans have done to each other 😂

Surely the Spanish inquisition was worse, the Trail of tears in America was worse, what Hitler did in wwII was worse.
The genocide of the Armenians by the Young Turks is still worse than this.

That's my entire point - you're trying to say Palestine is righteous but they had peace for over a decade before this "retaliation"

What about Yom Kippur? The Oslo Accords?

Electing HAMAS leadership in Gaza in the early 2000s😂
That would be like the USA letting ISIS take control of Canada.

That area is fucked bud - why do the Arabs want to kill the Jews?
They've both got a history of killing each other for longer than we can recount.

Who is right?

when was there peace???? for a decade?

Between 2010 and 2019, Israel killed an estimated 3,500 to 4,000 Palestinians, according to data compiled from reputable human rights organizations and UN sources. Here’s a year-by-year breakdown based on available data:

2010 ~82 Mostly during border clashes and airstrikes
2011 ~108 Increased airstrikes in Gaza
2012 ~246 Includes Operation Pillar of Defense (Nov)
2013 ~39 Relatively lower-intensity conflict year
2014 ~2,251 Includes Operation Protective Edge (Gaza War)
2015 ~149 Tensions during the "Stabbing Intifada"
2016 ~107 Continued sporadic violence
2017 ~76 Border violence, protests
2018 ~299 Great March of Return protests began
2019 ~133 Continued border violence, airstrikes

lets talk about 2018, specifically the Land Day protest which was one of the largest peaceful protests in Palestinian history. how did Israel respond?

Palestinians killed: ~183 (including at least 35 children and 3 paramedics)

Injured: Over 23,000, including thousands hit with live ammunition

There is credible evidence—including reports from the United Nations, B’Tselem (Israeli human rights group), and Human Rights Watch—that Israeli snipers deliberately shot at disabled Palestinians during the 2018 Great March of Return protests in Gaza.

🔹 Documented Cases of Disabled Protesters Shot and Killed
1.Ibrahim Abu Thuraya (Age 29)
Date killed: December 15, 2017 (during a protest that preceded the March of Return)

Details: Abu Thuraya had lost both legs in an earlier Israeli airstrike in 2008. He used a wheelchair and was a well-known figure in Gaza, often photographed waving a Palestinian flag.

Witnesses and journalists stated he was unarmed and posed no threat, standing (without legs) about 20 meters from the fence whenhe was shot in the head.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights condemned the killing, and no evidence was presented that he posed a threat.

2.Mohammad Abu Obaid (Age 25)
Date killed: May 14, 2018

Disability: Crippled leg due to previous injury

Was shot in the head while using crutches near the protest site.

3.Fadi Abu Salah (Age 30)
Date killed: May 14, 2018
Disability: Lost both legs in a 2008 Israeli airstrike

Used a wheelchair and was wearing a white cap

Shot in the head or upper body, according to eyewitnesses and human rights groups

B’Tselem called his killing “an act of calculated cruelty”

Quote
UN Commission of Inquiry (2019 Report)
Investigated killings during the 2018 protests

Found that Israeli snipers intentionally shot at clearly disabled individuals, including:

Amputees

People using crutches or wheelchairs

People with visible physical deformities

“Israeli forces killed and maimed persons with disabilities who posed no imminent threat… these actions may amount to war crimes or crimes against humanity.”
— UN Human Rights Council

Israel’s Arab citizens live, vote, study, and work side by side with Jews. If that is called subjugation, it is the kind the rest of the Middle East should envy.

No one is asking anyone to kneel. The request is simple: stop trying to destroy us.
If your idea of dignity is raising your children to die rather than letting them live in peace, then the issue is not the conflict. The issue is the culture that glorifies martyrdom instead of choosing compromise.

To add to this; historically the Arabs are much inferior fighters.
Almost every conflict, even most of the ones they started, they've incurred a much heavier loss of life.

Just look at the death tolls from each conflict - it's maddening

1.Ibrahim Abu Thuraya (Age 29)

You're cherry picking incidents out of 80 years of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and you didn't even choose a good one.
What are the known circumstances of the death of Ibrahim Abu Thuraya?
He made video tapes saying how he wanted to die a martyr at the border fence attacks. He went to the border fence, where Palestinians were attacking with improvised weapons and necessitating a military response from Israel to hold the border. Many rolled burning tires, threw stones or molotov cocktails, and Israel escalated a proportional response from tear gas to live fire as the fence was under attack. Ibrahim was filmed being one of the closest to the fence while it was under attack. 189 Palestinians were killed attacking the fence, with 50 formally claimed by Hamas as its members and 3 claimed by Islamic Jihad, and the rest of unknowable and unquantifiable militancy.
The actual shooting of Ibrahim wasn't captured on camera
Palestinians claimed he was shot by the IDF while unarmed, and peaceful, with evidence being the videos of him protesting before the shooting and with an unclear head injury afterwards in footage too low resolution to identify.
The IDF conducted a formal probe and found the video that showed him carried away 'right after the shooting' was timestamped over an hour after Israeli snipers had ceased fire and no more gunfire from the Israeli side was occurring. Their use of force review found three times Israeli soldiers opened fire, all earlier in the day. And that troops had been specifically trained not to shoot disabled Palestinians precisely to avoid these kinds of optics. Their review ruled out that Israeli snipers had shot him, but did not rule out that he could have died of a ricochet from crowd dispersal riot gas containers being fired around that time. Finally concluding "No live fire was aimed at Abu Thuraya. It is impossible to determine whether Abu Thuraya was injured as a result of riot dispersal means, or what caused his death"

Meanwhile on October 7th, Palestinians went door to door in Jewish communities slaughtering men, women, children and infants, and taking girls as sex slaves and killed a thousand innocent people in their homes
Seems like if you're going to pick specific incidents you could choose a better one. Want suggestions? Start with Rachel Corrie

just look at that list and view it from a logical perspective. are they really all lying? what it the most logical answer?
thats an old list

Reuters, AP, AFP and the BBC can be added to that list as well, as well as many others. This is also a part of the "seige mentality" that exists in Israeli culture. The WHOLE WORLD is against them in THEIR world view, and THEY are the last line of defense against the BARBARIANS. There are alot of videos online pandering to this world view.
