The MSM likes to normalize left-wing radicals while labeling Trump supporters alt-right, white supremacist types.

Trump's presidency really has highlighted the best and worst of America's media landscape. Right-wing media is doing what they always do, false equivalency, double standards, strawmans, deflection, etc. Mainstream networks like CNN/MSNBC are shilling the latest anti-Trump administration talking points, not even trying to be objective. Legit media like WaPo/NYT are doing incredible work.

WaPo and NYT nonetheless dont even try to hide their blatant anti-trump stance. even with trumps really bad approval ratings (-17% net approval rating), the media landscape overall still doesnt represent the people's view on trump, the media still is a lot more tilted against trump than the overall population.

WaPo/NYT are consistently breaking relevant stories. I don't read every story from them, so maybe they are biased to the left overall, but if you are a person who is just looking for the relevant breaking news in America, they are the gold standard.

The media landscape shouldn't represent the view of the people, it should represent the truth. The masses are stupid. A large portion of the American population doesn't believe in basic truths like climate change or Russian meddling in our election. Trump literally lies about something almost every day, so trying to play the center between the Trump crowd and everyone else isn't real journalism.

Just because they spend money on reporters doesnt mean the stories are honest. Their chosen airtime/priority for each topic is the worst bias.
