Weakening America is pretty good for the world, we tend to fuck up wherever we go.

Cross-posted from the thread where we track Trump's crimes -- Mueller apparently has a previous draft of the letter that Trump (allegedly) used to justify his firing of Comey (that he completely undermined several times in later comments and interviews).

Someone's not going to be happy when he touches down at Mar-a-Lago.

GOP diehards trying to save the party.

In most of the cases they're the ones quitting (read: getting fired). You're still operating under normal rules but you need to ditch the rulebook -- we're playing a whole different game now.

Some of the white house aides have said that they stick around to mitigate the damage from the man child, otherwise the dumpster fire that is this administration would be even more ridiculous.
Though there comes a point where you have to say "Enough" it is amusing that trump thinks he can bully and bluster his way around kelly though.

I've been hearing this sentiment from people who worked in this admin since March. They don't deserve our sympathy, appreciation, or thanks, and I say that as someone who's spent considerable time in govt and who ironically they've continuously tried to recruit to come work for them at virtually every department by now.

Coming from any other administration? Give the people saying it the benefit of the doubt that they were putting service first -- no matter their job, the "smart take" on their reputation/role by talking heads, which office/elected/party they got their start with, or what ugly blight you may think makes their administration irredeemable. The one thing we used to share with every administration, every office, every staff is that (in most cases) everyone served their country first, their bosses second, and themselves never.

Not with this administration and the people in it. They're different. Fundamentally different, from top to bottom. It was true when some of us were saying it two years ago, it's still true now.

you are one part ignorant one part foolish - shaken with a massive drop of unwarranted self-importance

Why should anyone listen to you????

Clinton would win in an electoral landslide. I know people like to have fun discussing fringe candidates but anyone who would attempt to argue otherwise is clearly clueless regarding national and state politics. Clinton would receive at least 347 EVs, and could theoretically push into the 370s-380s if she was fortunate enough to have 6-8 months of campaigning against Trump as the Republican standard-bearer

I keep seeing stuff like this; it's remarkable in its lack of awareness. No one is looking forward to a Trump primary win more than liberals because they're not dumb -- they know he'll get shit on in November

If Trump gets nominated then this election will be over by the time polls close in New Mexico. Everyone will get the math (78 Electoral Votes automatically going to the Democrats on the West Coast) and he'll be getting shoved up on stage to meander through some stream-of-consciousness concession speech.

I hope he stays. The kind of districts and states this clown would put in play just boggles the mind....

I have bounced around between Tim Kaine's (D-VA) junior legislative assistant group and his constituent services department since he was inaugurated. If I wanted to stick around I'd probably get a legislative assistant title but I'll probably be leaving soon to go work on one of the Virginia campaigns. I'd like to get a high position on Terry McAuliffe's campaign but if I don't get that then I'll probably just go help run polling for Mark Herring, who's campaigning for Attorney General. It really just depends on where each campaign needs help

...translation - you are the guy who robocalls at dinnertime to try and get us to participate in meaningless polls that nobody cares about but you because it provides you with a paycheck and sates your delusions of adequacy .

Jay. Everyone knows you pretended to be a girl on here and now you're becoming even more annoying with your rants about republicans.

The real reason pollster/jaykwik is the laughing stock... is he claims to own his own million dollar political polling company (though I hear there is evidence he is actually a political telemarketer who makes $8.50 / hour) this guy claims to be the end all expert on everything political and yet he was as wrong as could be about what he claims to be an expert at

Yeah, talking about the current president of the United States has no place in a political discussion forum.
