You can keep it. But you still gotta pay your rent. Taxes are basically renting the right to live as a free man in the country the government has built.

Would it be theft if I built a house, kept all the utilities running and let you live in it then punished you when you refused to pay rent? That's why people tell libertarians to move to the woods. You want all the amenities of a modern society then you pay your taxes. Simple.
