As I said earlier, this could last longer than anticipated if Russia doesn't commit more of their troops. Intelligence suggests they have most troops in reserve near the border still

Truth is, Russia didn't want to invade Ukraine. But these people just wouldn't stop shooting at Donbass. Unfortunately, it's impossible to negotiate with hardcore neo-nazi militants.. they act just like radical jihadists in terms of their behavior, especially towards civilians.

I do feel somewhat bad for Zelensky. During his whole time as president he had a gun pointed at his head by the Neo-Nazi's. He knew he risked another Maidan type uprising if he called off the war in Eastern Ukraine.

Still, his behavior now is atrocious. Arming women and kids? Ensuring that thousands more of his people will die fighting a losing battle?

Disgusting.

Shit like this is exactly why Russia invaded. If they had done nothing, the Ukrainians would have continued to terrorize DPR with shelling on a daily basis, and civilians would continue to die on a daily basis under their fire.

This is the shit they have been doing non-stop to Donbass for 8 years. All these fucking crocodile tears from the west about Russian aggression, but they ignored 8 years worth of Ukrainian aggression against civilians in Donbass.

Russia has had enough. That's all there is to it. Ukraine had 8 fucking years to settle the war politically and cease-fire. Eight. Years. They never stopped shooting, never took responsibility for their actions. Now their day of reckoning and judgement has finally come.
