IMO, this wearing of the veil in public is all about being able to pass unidentified in public. For reasons I think everyone, everywhere should be concerned with.

Most of european countries banned the veil covering face (if not all?), next step is to ban circumcision (but it's another story...)

A right, unless it's in a place that is extra security, like a bank or prison, or where you require photo identification. Banning an item of clothing you deem offensive isn't consistent with liberal ideals, and using security as an excuse for a blanket ban doesn't make sense. Wearing masks is legal if you're walking down the street.

I don't advocate breaking the law, and as I said I support banning the veil in places where you can't also wear masks.

well, it wasnt my idea that the religion of peace has never heard of equality, islam is the authoritarian ideology here and the trouble begins where muslim girls never have any kind of choice to wear such a thing or not

liberal does not mean you can do anything and it also means enforcement when its necessary to make sure the society can stayliberal

I mean liberal in the sense that you can do things how you see fit as long as you're not affecting anyone else, not that you can do anything, but I thought that would have been self-explanatory. I don't think it's my business or your business what somebody else wears, excluding the aforementioned exceptions.

Islam may be authoritarian, but my belief system doesn't change like the wind to counteract ideologies I disagree with.
