They literally made effigies of obama and hung them by the neck and set them on fire and that did not even make the news for a month.

If i remember correctly several prominent names from the gop were present at the time, i will look into it.
But yeah trump actually DID call for clintons assassination while we are on the subject and everyone with any kind of intelligence knew it.
