The Dems don't have anyone better than John Kerry to trot out and a combination of Sandernistas and Russians are keeping the left too engaged in purity tests to vote for anyone but a 'good person' who can't make it to the general

I think the Dems might get Warren in the mix. With how much she flagrantly hates Trump that might be an interesting matchup.

a politically correct women who is far more leftist than hillary? I dont think she would stand a chance unless trumps fucks up a ton. but with his administration recently having stabilized itself, I dont see an extreme environment in 2020 where even a fringe candidate like Warren could win.

hillary's repulsiveness had little to do with leftist views and more to do with her being repulsive as a person
conservatives for sanders was an actual thing

sanders was big on his "populist" economic message, and not as big on his socially progressive message. Warren is known far more for this social side of the lefty agenda.

She is known for consumer advocacy and protections primarily.
