Every time I've seen Pence in the media, he seems like he would be OK, as the 2020 rep nominee.

I've heard plenty on how the racist whites oppressed the black majority for many years including apartheid, etc.

What you don't really hear about is how native South African blacks treat refugees or economic migrants from other parts of Africa. Look it up, it's pretty startling to hear how these people are hacked to death with machetes and treated like sub-humans but that shit doesn't make the news.



Yes i do realize that but it's really not viewed as one of the most racist countries in the world. When was the last time CNN, BBC, Reuters condemned Japan or some other affluent non-white nation for limiting migration...like never right?

Meanwhile it's hard to get through one news cycle in which either the US or the EU isn't vilified for not wanting to accept every person.

The BBC doesn't condemn any nation or policy, it is independent and reports different viewpoints on issues in a fair manner. The others I can't comment on for obvious reasons.

It's perfectly fair to expect a higher moral standard from the richest countries in the world, although you are aggrandising your point.

Racism flows from giving different ethnic groups a push, to fight each other, worked very well in south Africa. Most of the strategies were learned from us btw.
