call it a small amount of socialism, for me its common sense and a huge achievement

inviting illegal migrants, that have not contributed and most of them never will, into that system however like it is done here is another story entirely

of course giving out "free" stuff is popular. it turns unpopular once the people realize that it in fact is not "free". the political left always start out with the "moral high-ground advantage" since they propagate stuff like helping the weak and poor, fighting inequality and discrimination, providing universal healthcare and so on. of course those things will be popular when looked at superficially. the political right then has to show that the stuff the political left is proposing is actually not eliminating discrimination and injustice, it just shifts those issues from one demographic to another.

2 - less regulations
