Experimentation is due and it's happening a lot. It is happening in the form of peer regulation happening between types of services itself based on how insurance companies are going to track and pay for certain things, forcing doctors and hospitals to behave in certain ways. A lot of bullying due to economies of scale playing out. Health care was better before insurance got so involved....their activity should be kept to a minimum and they should be mandated to be nonprofit for market based healthcare to be feasible at least. Systems similar to ours that were bloated did this and they achieved universal coverage and dropped a few percent in healthcare cost vs GDP. It was Switzerland, very conservative nation.

Yeah. Self reflection is also good, and i call Trump voters retards. I don't think they're all retards, and the fact is that most of the people the Right thinks vote Democrat do not vote at all. Most people that vote Democrat are like me to a large degree.

anyhow, it cant be denied that obamacare was executing a large redistribution of utility (monetary or in the form of healthcare coverage) from lower middle class americans, predominantly whites, to the poor, disproportionately minorities.
it also cant be denied that obamacare was a large burden on medium sized firms with between 50 and say 1000 employees. and lets not forget all the people who were shut out of getting their hours raised because of obamacare.


in the end, neither obamacare nor the previous republican healthcare suggestions in congress offer a solution, they all just redistribute the burden of the healthcare system slightly in favor of their voters' demographic. the true issue in american healthcare clearly are the outrageous costs, i.e. that big pharma is exploiting the dysfunctionalities of the american healthcare system to increase their profit margins at the cost of american workers. THIS is the true issue here, but with the stranglehold of pharma lobbyists on congress, it wont change anytime soon.
