Yeah. It's almost as bad as someone politicizing their JSP signature. :/

national anthem, jsp signatures, even emmy speeches. When will this madness end? I want to get away from politics when and where i dont like them so i can get back to posting in an obscure political subforum 7 days a week for 6 hours a day.

President Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court Thursday to block a Manhattan grand jury subpoena for copies of his financial records and tax returns, teeing up a test of Trump's expansive claims of immunity.

The case marks the first time lawyers for the President have gone to the Supreme Court arguing that the President is immune from criminal proceedings while in office.
"In our petition, we assert that the subpoena violates the US Constitution and therefore is unenforceable," Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow said in a statement. "We are hopeful that the Supreme Court will grant review in this significant constitutional case and reverse the dangerous and damaging decision of the appeals court."

Trump requests writ of certiorari to hide his financial entanglements. I wonder if the SCOTUS will take it.

Pelosi showing true political mastery though. Her and Lavrov have been using Trump as a Chinese fingercuff while glaring at each other his entire presidency. Lavrov is obviously in front and his balls are cupped.

I don't think SCOTUS will let something pass just because it's Trump. If the Gran Jury subpoena is unconstitutional, I think they will block it. If it isn't they won't.

In another email, on April 4, 2018, Tlaib wrote: "I am just not going to make it through the campaign without a stipend."

"With the loss of a second income to lean back on," she wrote. "I am requesting $2,000 per two weeks but not exceeding $12,000. The cost of living stipend is going towards much needed expenses due to campaigning that includes car maintenance, child care and other necessities. Please let me know if I can proceed."

In August of that year, Tlaib texted her future chief of staff Ryan Anderson at 6:38 a.m.: "Sorry for the early text but do you think the campaign can still pay me a stipend until the general. Trying to get out of debt."

"I think we definitely afford to do so. But we need to really clearly define your time and space," Anderson responded, noting that the arrangement could arouse "concern" among the media.

The OCE also attached scans of checks made out to Tlaib from her campaign, totaling thousands of dollars.

Wario fucked up.

I'd have to say... THREE gold stars for that one. Nice find. :)
