You're posting the quote out of context. He said he wouldn't punish the father of the child as harshly. Which is ridiculous. If the man didn't know he shouldn't be punished and if he did know he should be punished equally. The issue isn't woman vs doctor at all, its that he also stated prospective mothers should be punished more harshly than prospective fathers.

How is the quote out of context? That's what the campaign put out. He's saying if an abortion happens, the doctor is responsible and the woman is a victim.

Trump finally took the bait on something, a hypothetical. And again, everyone remaining in the race is using this to "beat Trump" rather than "improve the country" in their own campaigns.

It's kind of funny really. He's running a MAGA campaign and every one else is running a beat trump campaign. Kind of sad more so.
