this is a good post. to slightly nuance it i would say that western analysts struggle at times to breach the cultural divide when consider what another can and cant, will and wont, be able to do. i think that joe rogan video is years old or? think i saw that some time ago.

I think it's recent. and while we do struggle to understand chinese culture there's something universal about behavior of humans when they are starving and their children and elderly are all dying.

i will be very delicate and say that certain cultures, or people, or persons, or person, have a different...moral code, ethic's, value, on other people's lives. so while one may say its all doom and gloom for china, i would rather wait and see. i persoanlly am of the view that if they have a plan, stick to it, and well, dont care, or put their own slant about the human aspect of things, they can achieve their goals.

if that makes sense, without irritating half the world.

no offence to anyone intended here! my view is simply that china is not going to implode over the next 10 years.
