So the entire civil trial was to determine how much.

His own stupid fault tbh. He just needed to provide what they requested. A defamation case is really tough to prove.

The question was not whether he was guilty or not. Just how much he should be charged.

The fact he lost doesn't mean anything. The judge could have been stupid and/or wrong, which is very probable because she is Hispanic. She could also be biased.

In any event, you shouldn't let a judge do your thinking for you. Instead of saying, "he did defame because the judge says so", you should use your brain and figure out things for yourself.

But let me explain you my opinion cus you seem to really want to hear it. Listen and listen closely:

Alex has the right to express his opinion, even if his opinions don't make any sense. The problem is, that he claims Sandy Hook was staged. Not as an opinion rather something he was asserting as true.
To say that sandy hook was staged is to say that the parents of all the victims are lying and are evil conspirators with the government. That qualifies as defamation.
