Yes, Disney is going to leave Florida and go. The problem is where. Georgia? South Carolina? Mississippi? Louisiana? They need a place south, warm, and east. Those places vote for Republicans, they're going to have this problem wherever they go. They don't have leverage here. If they want to be a Californian company with no reach outside of California, that's there prerogative, but their executives should expect to be fired and replaced by shareholders hungry for more.
Which goes back to my other comment, that this will likely lead to a lawsuit that embarrasses both the GOP and floridians when they realize what a hold Disney has on their economy in Central Florida, and the state as a whole.
Republicans talk a big game, and shit tends to go their way when it attacks minorities, women, and children. A global entertainment giant with literally nothing but money on the other hand, and I'd wager we see desantis backtrack before years end.
