Can you give me a comparison using a few quotes from Elon and a few quotes from the Paris accord? I'm not familiar with either to a great extent, so I'd like it if you could inform me on why you have this opinion.
I'll never have the time/patience to go link hunting for you Netflix, but I'm happy to share my high altitude anecdotal take on what I've heard from him. I don't agree with most of what Elon believes and plans to do about what he believes is anthropogenic climate change, but I do appreciate that he speaks about comprehensive, world-wide solutions, as opposed to Paris which from what I can tell only specifies that the West adapt, leaving China and India to grow with impunity. I am definitely not on board with a "Carbon Tax" as he proposes, as any reasonable person knows a great majority of that money would not be re-allocated according to its reason to be taxed in the first place. In a non-corrupt, functional system with transparency and representation, I'd be more likely to get on board with a system that punishes entities that abuse our environment in anyway, not simply based on carbon emissions, which is extremely short-sighted considering all the other ways entities can be a malus on the environment.
