teachers are humans, yes. teachers have always done that, yes. teachers in a free country should be allowed to do that within reason. my point is not that there weren't ANY teachers who ever mentioned ANY issues concerning gender or such - my point is that the myth of teachers systematically indoctrinating kids with harmful knowledge is made up culture war bullshit. desantis' attack on free speech is a "solution" in search of a problem, it's red meat for his bigoted base, and NOT something that makes any practical sense, quite the opposite - and it's terrible precedent.
You leave your child with piratical strangers, with the faith that they will do their best to educate your child based on regulated materials.
These teachers are a part of a teachers union that is predominate democrat supporting.
Two problems, no three problems.
1. Parents are leaving their children in the hands of complete strangers to the parents.
2. If a problem was raised the democrat backed teachers have a huge packing of legal support.
3. Problems are rarely raised because these teachers don't see any issue in spread what they believe to be true.

Kentanji 'knows' better than you do, that level of smug 'im better than you' attitude is the real problem.
Would you want a teacher to teach your child that they should grow up never questioning and only accepting.
Sounds like a great start to a dystopian fictional novel.
Teachers just like supreme court justices have verified material that has worked and is what's used to best find a resolution.
They should not and can not start doing what They believe is best. That's now how the system was built. You can't just run around spreading 'facts' based on emotions rather than long proven logic.
