I'm in Ohio and I can hunt and fish, live in the woods. Go just a little east, south or southeast and I'm in the old country where people still know the old ways.

Also my friend has a basement that makes the Punisher war room look like garbage so I will borrow one of his dozen AKs or dozen colt armalite rifles. Guy has a half million dollars worth of ammo too. His mom didn't let him play with pointy sticks as a kid and he has an incredible reaction formation to this.

He showed me this rifle he made that had a binary trigger which means it fires upon squeeze and upon release. Its .22lr and you can put a drum of it on it and and feels like firing a machine gun. And this is just one basement in Ohio my guy. We're fucking apes here.

Even if civilization is completely wiped out and only a few survive, they will be well armed lol. Just look around the rubble and you will likely find some form of firearm in many houses.

I bet most Americans on PaRD are armed in some capacity, even if its just a handgun.

Not knocking the spear; it is the true weapon of the elite warrior during most of antiquity.

The quality of weaponry will degrade significantly once the manufacturing and maintenance options cease to exist and corporate secrets have been burned to ash. I admit that I was exaggerating and acknowledge a great many firearms will still exist but they won't be easy and cheap to acquire anymore when people have to make them at in their shed.
