In my perfect world everybody would voluntarily get them.

In my nearly perfect world vaccines would be such common sense that anybody who didn't voluntarily get it would be ostracized and effectively kept from polite society because of how stupid and irresponsible they are.

In the real world we can do things like encourage employers to either test regularly or vaccinate, and all federal contractors will have to vaccinate.

I never said you did. I put "destructive to language" in quotes for a reason, because it broadly describes the type of argument you are making.

When you say it's not right to change the definition to make it fit that's the kind of argument you are making, and you are also incorrect that it was required for the covid jab to be considered a vaccine.

Not sure what you are saying. Are you saying that covid jabs aren't true vaccines but it's still OK to force them on people?

No, I am unwilling to reiterate information I already said to an individual who hasn’t read my previous responses. Your reading comprehension isn’t in question here as it’s been proven to be subpar

I'm saying Covid vaccines were always vaccines under the definition and the "change" wasn't actually a change but a specific clarification about the new technology.

The definition of vaccine is, in the simplest terms "a substance used to stimulate immunity from a disease without having to contract the disease"

This has been the definition of vaccine for the entirety of their existence and the Covid mRNA vaccines absolutely fall under it.

But typically definitions will have points of clarification underneath. So you might have a few bullets that say something like

- An artifical substance used to induce immunity

This doesn't fundamentally change the definition, it just clarifies that vaccines can be artificial.

In the case of the Covid vaccines they added

-An mRNA substance that can induce immunity to a disease by causing transcription of viral proteins in the host

Again, doesn't fundamentally change the definition, but adds a point of clarification.

But wouldn't flu shots be considered vaccines too according to this definition? But we don't mandate them.

could've just gave a simple yes or a no, instead you rather belittle and demean

all that says is you are not speaking from a position of strength
