Metals are mostly used for technologies/advancement. We can survive without all that.

Our problem is that, if the world goes to shit at the same time, it'll create chaos we never seen before because most people don't have the skills to survive and will go into panic mode.

I wouldn't be surprised if 9 ppl on 10 here didn't know how to make fire by themselves without a lighter or matches.

Ask people to turn stagnant/salt water into drinkable water. You'll be surprised how much they will cry for mom and dad.

Reduce the food supply. Humans are just a basic feeder population, no different from deer. When food availability decreases, so will fertility. Of course, the other solution is to introduce natural predators who eat humans.

nope, look at africa. the population is out of control, a lot of them are starving, they don't care. they literally are making children to leave them to die. and of course they invade europe.

Food aid to Africa drives fertility. Cut off food aid and support local subsistence farming and this will change.

they lack education. pulling out is not that difficult, in fact it's super easy. having 10 children doesn't demonstrate your love for them, on the contrary, you can't focus on all of them.

my opinion is they lack education. I presume their governments think like well some of them will make it so that will be helpful in the future.

A simp assumption. They procreate because its survival instinct, the poorer they are the more kids they make this has been shown around the world time and time again. I don't even bother explaining or am slightest surprised someone of your calibre would be able to understand. What these third world people need is some good ol capitalism and education about sustainable agriculture. They are not taking good care of the planet
