I tagged njaguar in a post like 2 months ago trolling that the thread was about pedophilia and that he was needed so he could come email everyone's boss--for the sake of consistency, of course. Got a warn + 30 day suspension.

To your question though: I think it's important to clarify that some parents took issue with the video, and not all. I would not ever show a video in class that has not been presented to the parents first, at least in terms of giving them an opportunity to watch it themselves and to address any questions or concerns that they have. I don't think the video in question is necessarily inappropriate per se, especially since parents (if the process is done properly) have the ability to consent to or opt their child out of the lesson.

I see a lot of value in educating kids out of gender stereotypes. Making sure to let girls know they're fine if they don't want to wear dresses, and boys are fine if they don't want to play sports. Anything that goes towards the ultimate goal of eliminating gender as a meaningful category is okay in my book. IMO it's a largely useless categorization.

I think schools should be as objective as possible. Teachers can espouse morality through the humanities by the student's ingestion of great works that challenge their thinking and encourage them to form their own thoughts and beliefs.

People get committed to an episteme and actually start to believe it to be objective reality, as if objective reality is anything besides atoms.

Also, to give actual examples of what was being taught by Justine Ang Fonte at the school, here's a video that she used for the first-graders that some parents were/are upset about:

Following the french proverb; "all this doesn't piss very far" except this:

"feels good when touch penis/clitoris" which does not really applies when you are 1st grade. Maybe you can point out / formalize this when they are 12 but not when they are 6 or 8. Not really necessary at this age IMO...
