Newsom's Political Mandates

The UK is not requiring masks in schools, based on a “very strong” expert consensus that the harms to kids exceed the benefits. This will be my policy as Governor.

As far as the new vaccine mandates, which no other state has, Newsom just confirmed their purpose is entirely political: he’s running anti-Recall ads attacking us for wanting to reverse them.

While Newsom’s ads rely on fear-mongering, mine aim for optimism. We have a new mail ad as well as a 2-minute video ad titled “Not a Second to Waste.”

There are two debates this week. Tomorrow’s in Sacramento will be on the radio and Thursday’s in San Francisco will be televised. This comes as a poll shows the Recall is a dead heat.

Finally, I’ve heard the concern that having a few strong candidates might “split the vote.” Jenna Ellis, the lawyer for President Trump, explained why that’s not an issue:

“Having multiple strong replacement candidates is actually helpful toward the goal of ousting Newsom since different candidates will turn out different supporters who will all vote YES on Q1.

This isnt True obviously the non mask requirements has nothing to do with 'harm to children' - What he may be mistakenly referring to is the suggestion that children under 3 years old might not want to be masked because of the potential chewing and choking hazard, nothing to do with anything other than the fact that 2 year olds try to eat things. And trust me, they do.

The Non Mask requirements put out in July is simply lifting the federal mandate for it much like how in the US there are many many areas business jobs entertainment facilities etc are still requiring the use of masks so again he is using a lie to perpetuate a lie but he is a politician so whatcha gona do

Newsom Knows He's Lost

A federal lawsuit has just been filed to cancel the Recall vote. Gavin Newsom has tried every trick in the book to thwart the will of voters, so of course it has come to this.

I’ll be helping make sure this gets laughed out of court. It’s a fringe legal theory brought by two “voters” and an attorney with his own criminal record: 19 felonies and a 3-year prison term. Yet Newsom’s fingerprints are all over it.

Newsom’s handpicked Attorney General says he’s "monitoring" the case. It’s being promoted in the New York Times by the same Berkeley professor Newsom used to try to keep Donald Trump off the ballot. That scheme was unanimously rejected by the State Supreme Court.

Newsom knows his days are numbered, and our political class is terrified beyond belief.

We are getting great feedback on last night's debate. It's airing on NPR affiliates today. And tomorrow’s will be televised statewide on these stations at 7 PM.

At the debate and for the rest of the campaign, I'll continue to make the case against Gavin Newsom - not against other candidates to replace him.

Thanks to all for the kind feedback on Thursday’s debate, which was broadcast to 22 million Californians. I was grateful to be named the winner by 81 percent of viewers in the network’s post-debate poll.

Yesterday I visited an amazing charter school where students were happy and learning. The school has stayed open, made masks optional, and offered a flourishing independent study option. It was a reminder of what’s at stake in the Recall.

Newsom wants charters gone, wants masks worn indefinitely, and is threatening another shutdown. He also continues to play politics with the vaccine, announcing passports will be required for large events.

And now he’s called upon Kamala Harris and Joe Biden to rescue him. They'll have to explain why we deserve America's worst governor and a state government that's outperformed by all 49 others.

Yes, California leads the nation in all the wrong ways. That’s why people of all parties are voting YES. There’s nothing to lose.
