did you even read the full article? or did you stop once you read something that you thought supported you? because if you read the whole article, it makes it clear that masks DO work, but that there are OTHER issues such as hand washing that need to accompany it for it to be fully effective. if you had read past that single sentence you picked out, youd have seen that it says that because there isnt as much NEED for the protection outside healthcare facilities as the length of interaction with others, and therefore exposure, is minimal. it doesnt say that because masks work inside a healthcare facility but somehow magically stop working once you step outside it.

the air quality claim is nonsense as well. even if the air inside the mask WERE poor quality, look at how much air is inside the mask compared to how much air your lungs can hold. the air inside the mask is only a small percentage of what you get with each breath.

it will coast right through a mask but water vapor wont ya right. saw a vid of ice skaters in cold weather one could see their breath I could show that but it will just be excuses.
